Cause of Virginal odor and treatment Hello, I would like to the cause of unusual virginal odor, the effect and the possible remedy.

I was trying to conceive before now but i observed series of changes in the smell of my PP, tough reduced now. I want to be sure is not some bacteria that have been causing the infertility. I seriously need help.

Vaginal bacteria is one of the commonest causes of vaginal odour. Also, Trichomoniasis, a sexually transmitted infection — also can lead to vaginal odour. Pour hygiene can also be a cause. In the meantime, to minimize vaginal odour by Washing your external genital area. During regular baths or showers, use a very small amount of mild, unscented soap and lots of water. Avoid douching. All healthy vaginas contain bacteria and yeast. The normal acidity of your vagina keeps bacteria and yeast in check. But douching can actually upset this delicate balance.
