My baby of one year has PCV of 24%. How do I boost it?

Please do not self -medicate on iron supplements......It can easily be overdosed......the appropriate dose should be prescribed by the Paediatrician based on your child's weight. The doctor should have prescribed iron supplements for your baby since a test was being conducted...if they don't please go back and ask for one.

Low PCV... Low PACKED CELL VOLUME AKA BLOOD levels is called ANAEMIA aka shortage of blood... There are many causes of anaemia... Though malnutrition is one of them especially if the food is deficient in iron and folic acid and vitamins... There are other causes that have nothing to do with food.
