Rhogam injection is to prevent complications against next pregnancy anytime a rhesus negative mother delivers a rhesus positive baby. There is no risk to the mother or the baby , but to prevent risk against the next pregnancy.
Anti D injection otherwise called Rhogam is for Rhesus negative women WITHIN THE FIRST 72 HOURS OF DELIVERING A RHESUS POSITIVE baby to prevent jaundice and other problems in the next baby. It is not usually given to pregnant women but after delivery or pregnancy loss.
