Oral thrush is a fungal infection caused by Candida... It usually manifest as whitish patch on the inner surface of the cheeks, mouth and tongue. It may look like milk stain but it is usually difficult to remove. And even if removed, there will be a sore, wound or ulcer left behind. It requires treatment with oral antifungal. It may be a pointer to low immunity in the affected children
