Lanark Specialist Hospital is a corporate organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria and the Oyo State Hospital Management Board. We are licensed to provide quality medical service to the populace of Ibadan and its environs in various areas of healthcare, especially in Internal Medicine. Lanark Specialist Hospital formerly known as "Lanark Specialist Hospital & Yosi Sekoni Maternity" was founded over 34 years ago by Dr. George Ajibola Sekoni and his wife, Mrs. Christiana Ibiyosi Sekoni, a Nurse and Midwife by profession. The name Lanark comes from the region in Scotland where George Ajibola trained to become a Medical Doctor, attending the University of Glasgow. Christiana practiced Nursing in the same area.
