I think the difference is just in how it would show after surgery, bikini line is just under your tummy, so it's hidden and no one will know you even had a cut there. While horizontal is right on your tummy, it's more obvious. I think most doctors do bikini now

horizontal should b from under ur navel down/ while bikini is under ur lower abdomen and d cut is vertical-
