Yes u started late u would have started at 3months to prop him DAT is sit him up n support him with wrapper or pillow ,well u have to continue.u can also put toys or fanciful items in front of him to catch his attention .

Its Not by starting late o. I started at 5month fr my boy. At 5mth 2weeks exactly he started sitting wtht support. By 6mths,he startrd crawling on his own.make it fun fr him. Thats the key. Let him sit infront of u with ur legs spread apart to support him. Put toys in front of him. Do 10 minutes 3x a day. STAY THERE WITH HIM. Its a process. You can buy a sitter too
