Dr Wada attended the School of Basic Studies, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) from 1974 -1975 and had his medical education in the same university, graduating with an MBBS degree in 1980. He did his Houseman ship at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), 1980/81.
Dr. Wada began his specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at JUTH, Jos in 1982, after the NYSC and made a mark in 1984 as the first doctor from the region to pass the specialist examinations of both the Nigerian and West African Postgraduate Medical Colleges.
He left for the UK in May 1986 to continue his specialist training at Addenbrooke’s Teaching Hospital, Cambridge and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital UK, King’s Lynn Norfolk.
In February 1988, he bagged the specialist postgraduate degree in O & G, and became a member of the prestigious Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, London at his first attempt.
