Safehands Schools, AbujaFCT, Abuja
The school first started with an international Christian curriculum called the Accelerated Christian Curriculum (ACE) from North America. However, the school has found a need to keep abreast with the changes in Education and as such, the school has adopted an integrated curriculum that captures the best practices in the British and Nigerian school system wrapped around a Christ-centered curriculum of Christian school Trust, UK. Here the children are not just custodians of excellent academic knowledge but are also raised as Disciples of Christ.
SHS has about 250 students spanning from the early years (3months) to year six. The school is governed by a School Board made up of the church and parents from different spheres of life and the Headteacher.
SHS is a member of the Association of Christian schools international (ACSI). Though the school presently has only students who are Nigerian nationals, it looks to open its doors to families of other nationals who share the vision to raise children who have true knowledge and wisdom that comes from God.
The school has a staff strength of about 70 and gives high priority to staff development at all levels by providing regular in-house training sessions and other relevant training outside the school.
