Dr Harold-Sodipo graduated from the premier University of Ibadan Medical School in 1978. She returned to the Paediatric Department of LUTH to join the residency training program to commence her formal training in paediatrics.

During these years, she worked in various sub-specialities but with a special interest in paediatric respiratory diseases, notably, asthma in childhood and tuberculosis infections in children.Acute management of such children as well as in the long-term management of the condition including the use of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion
