The Pier School is an engaging and fun learning environment envisioned and birthed by professionals who are passionate about giving children the right start in life. A pier, in architecture, is an upright support (rectangular or square pillars) with extra strong foundation used to hold up suspended structures or superstructures like arches, bridges, walls or roofs. Like a pier, we are here to give a solid support to every child while we lay an extra strong foundation for his learning. We provide children with an indoor and an outdoor learning area that are organized, attractive and well prepared with carefully chosen materials that call the child to work, order, joy, and satisfaction. Children learn in two mixed age groups, toddling tots (1 to 21/2-year-olds) and sturdy tots (21/2 to 5-year-olds). We, however, have a separate group (teensy tots) for children who are not walking yet. We open at 6:45am and close at 6:45pm daily. Our preschool runs from 8am-1:30pm while the after-school club runs from 1:30pm-6:30pm. We are open all year round except public holidays and our year-end holidays in December/January. Our vision is to raise godly, innovative and exceptional children who will thrive incompetence and excellence, and achieve great feats in life. Our mission is to aid and enhance every child’s intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social and physical development within a happy, safe, healthy and friendly environment.
