Anaemia in pregnancy can have many reasons and it can affect the health of both mother and developing baby including growth failure for baby. Also patient may develop a complication during delivery if anaemia is not corrected before it. You should consult haematologist at the earliest with a Hematologist for proper diagnosis of anaemia before any blood transfusion and take proper advice.
