You have to calm down
and be very patient. Your lactation
depends on your state of mind and
nutritional status. Ensure you feed on
balanced meals especially fluids and
breast feed on demand. You should
also know that the more your baby
sucks the more your brain signals for
more production of breastmilk.

You need to go back to the hospital as soon as possible. There are no self-care options for abscesses. While waiting to see your child's doctor, you can try applying a warm compress to the affected area and give him or her ibuprofen (in infants older than 2 months) to help with the swelling and pain.
