Kindly lay your complaints/observations at the hospital because they are in a better position to physically evaluate the site. You have the right to ask questions whenever you're in doubt.

It is not normal

​Leave your infant's dressing on for 24 hours after the circumcision.
While your child is healing, apply a petroleum-based ointment (such as Vaseline) to the end of the penis after every bath and with each diaper change.
Go to the nearest emergency department if your child has excessive bleeding, fever, worsening redness or swelling, yellow liquid draining from the incision or difficulty with urinating.

Apply olive oil

If it was detected while in hospital they were suppose to incubate him. Please go to another hospital or government hospital for proper treatment. Please avoid sef medication.

It is best for your baby to be circumcised between twenty-four (24) and seventy-two hours (72) hours after birth. this is because babies tend to bleed less and cry less, if circumcision is done in the first few days after birth. Also note that the longer the delay in carrying out the circumcision, the higher the risk of stopping the bleeding.
