It is normal for the poo to occur up to 12 times a day as long as they are normal stools which in exclusively breastfed babies are semi-formed like melon soup. There should be no mucus or catarrh in the stools.

Sometimes, they can poo up to 12 times in a day.

Frequent poo is normal in EBF babies. If the stool is not watery then there's nothing to worry about. Babies on EBF may not poo daily, they can stay up to 2 weeks without having to poo. Sometimes, they can poo up to 12 times a day. As long as the stools are normal. There's nothing to worry about.

As long as the stools are normal, not watery, there is no need to worry. Frequency or passing stools immediately after feeds does not matter. Just endeavour to feed your baby well.
