Anterior fontanelle (AF) is what is usually said to be sunken. It can be from dehydration and/or malnutrition. See your Paediatrician to diagnose the appropriate cause and institute the right management. General prevention, exclusive breastfeeding and immediate treatment of diarrhoea with ORS or other appropriate fluids as discussed here.
Kindly use a thermometer first to know whether the "hotness" is truly something to worry about or not....If the temperature is normal, that is between 36.5 - 37.4, there is no need to worry at all

A picture would have given us an idea of what you are talking about. But better still let a paediatrician have a physical assessment and possibly proffer a solution. It's also important you state your child's age when asking questions so that a befitting answer can be provided.
