Baby cerealPlease, my baby is 5 months +...... can I give him nutribom multigrain cereal
Hi mama, please hold on till baby is at least 6 months and start with the single ones before going for multi. Because they can be allergic to certain food components, so you need to test each food components for allergies before trying the multi grain. In the mean time, please still continue with breastmilk and/or formula. All the best
Boosting of appetiteDoc, please can I give my son of a year and 9 months, becombion syrup to boost his appetite? He don't like eating! Please?
Be rest assured that it’s a phase and he’ll outgrow it. Children that age do not need appetite boosters. You’d have to find alternatives to get him to eat, try singing, dancing, clowning, etc..

Stomach painMy baby of a week and 6days is always crying,we don't sleep at night, I guess stomach pain and also the stomach always make noise
It’s probably colic and it’s fairly common, there isn’t really much of a treatment but you need to always ensure you burp the baby properly in between and after feeds and ensure they don’t take in too much air when they feed.

This can be very difficult. Most issues related to a baby not sleeping are caused by temporary things like illness, teething, developmental milestones or changes in routine — so the occasional sleep snafu likely isn't anything to worry about.

Try to talk to your doctor is this persist so the underlying cause can be investigated
Baby's healthIs it wise to give my baby his remaining pap please
Depends on how long. Ideally because babies are easily susceptible to bacteria infections, it’s not ideal to give them leftovers. Just make a fresh one and to avoid wastage, make what your baby can finish or finish your baby’s leftovers yourself.
Baby GrowthSometimes my 4moths baby looks bigger and smaller again...what could be d cause?is it worm that is disturbing him?

Yes. It is okay for a breasfeeding mum to continue with prenatal drugs: multivatamins and iron supplements..
ImmunizationMy 6weeks old baby is running temperature after immunization yesterday. What do I do?
Side effects after immunisation are mostly mild and usually last one to two days. Babies may be unsettled or sleepy after immunisation. Just give paracetamol , your baby should be fine.

How to treat a high temperature after vaccination?

1) Make sure they're not wearing too many layers of clothes or blankets.
2) Give them plenty to drink.
3) Give your baby liquid paracetamol to bring their temperature down.

Most of the time, there is no clear reason why the baby did not turn head-down. In some cases, breech position may be linked to early labor, twins or more, problems with the uterus, or problems with the baby.

A small number of new mums have difficulty producing enough breast milk due to medical reasons, which include:

Excessive blood loss (more than 500 ml) during the birth or retained fragments of the placenta can delay your milk coming in (which usually happens around three days after the birth).

A history of polycystic ovarian syndrome, diabetes, thyroid or other hormonal disorders. Mums with these conditions sometimes experience a low milk supply. The rare medical condition mammary hypoplasia, in which there isn’t enough milk-producing glandular tissue within the breast.

Previous breast surgeries or breast trauma – although many mums who have had surgery go on to breastfeed successfully. If any of these conditions applies to you, see a lactation consultant or breastfeeding specialist.
