Flagyl is a form of antibiotics which is meant to be used only on prescription by a Doctor. There is nothing like Jedi Jedi in medicine so please stop all self-medication.

Okay, give Oral suspension and Zinc. If stooling persists kindly take the child to the hospital.

If he's refusing ORS... Try other home-based fluids like coconut water, rice water even garri water. If not tolerating any of the fluids you have to take him to the hospital for intravenous Rehydration.

Meanwhile, continue to give ORS to replace the fluids. If the temperature is above 37.5, you can tepid sponge. While you head to the hospital.

On the mucus in stool... Yellowish stools with Semi-formed solids like melon are normal for exclusively breastfed babies.
If it persists please see a paediatrician for proper evaluation and management.

Please stop the ORS and oral zinc....it is not for newborns or 2 months old!!!

Kindly take your child to the hospital since the vomiting and purging hasn't stopped after the ORS.

You can give your baby ORS but if it persists kindly take your baby to the hospital.
