Mothers pls, dont just give ur child any drug except they really need it. Even as nurse/midwife, i take my child to a paediatrician for assessment and treatment if need be. Piccan is good but make sure ur child really need it before giving him or her. My daughter now has 10 teeth. I never gave her piccan, i treat her symptoms as they come. I hope these helps. I wasnt really worried cos she was on EBF and quantity isnt much, then she was active and gaining weight. Some of them said i should buy Piccan, a baby who doesn't have fever or feeling whatsoever pain. Thank God i dint yield. Another episode of frequent stooling at 5 months, they said its teething again, this time, i no even mind them cos i treat my child according to whatever symptoms she presents with. Do u know when she brought out her first 2 teeth, she was 10 months old. Imagine i bought Piccan and i have been giving her on every slight thing, so i would have continued till 10 months.

What are d symptoms ur baby is exhibiting?? Does she has fever?? Hope u know Piccan contains Paracetamol and piriton, excess of it is bad for their kidney. A 2 months old baby teething? I doubt it. Its possible but rare. Let me share a story with u...my baby was pooing frequently at 3 months, d women at d creche said it was teething.
