Pls mam discontinue the diastop, its not advisable to always forcefully stop diarrhoea in children with drugs like that because you will only be encouraging the micro organism to persist on in the GIT. Also 5days is too long not to have taken the child to hospital mam. He needs urgent rehydration with ORS and zinc and treating the infection with metronidazole (flagyl). Pls take him to hospital for better assessment and treatment
