I had same problem, I bled to 2mths going to 3 and I noticed some pains, so I went back to the hospital where I gave birth and I was told that there is still particles of the placenta in me, that it has to be removed for the bleeding to stop. I did it that day and the bleeding stopped the next day. Though it was the doctor at fault.

Go for a scan to be sure the placenta is fully out, then see a doctor

May be you didn't drink enough hot water that help bring out the blood
