Its not about protein intake atall, if protein is present in ur urine it means u ave infection. Talk to ur dc he will ask u to go for urine test.

You have to reduce your intake of red meat, sugary foods, fatty foods like eggs and take in more of water, fruits and fish (you can only take 2 portions of oily fish a week). You will see that your urine would be fine.
