Hello mummies.... please I need advice for my 2 month old baby... she has not poo in like 5 days now, what can I do? and she is breastfed only.

Hello all, I will go with Alabi Faith, my baby girl exhibited this same behaviour and quickly we visited her doctor. We were told it's normal for exclusive breast feeding babies. They are gaining fats and weight.

What u feed on, your baby takes from breastfeeding. If I must say, you also have not gone to the toilet, or when u go, its as strong as rock. Feed more on fruits, vegetable and fibres. Drink alot of water as well.

Really if you are giving her only breast milk it is fine, it is only bottle fed babies that need to poo every day. There is no problem if Exclusively breastfed babies poo once in 7 days. Do not give anything, check the internet or visit the doctor's to be rest assured.

Eat a lot of watermelon and oranges it will help and if you don't mind give the baby some of the orange juice you extract from a fresh orange. But it is important you eat those fruits well coz the baby will suck it from you.
