Hello mums and docs in the house.Pls I want to know if it's tru that ginger causes miscarriage because I can't cook without adding ginger and garlic

Ginger is good, garlic is not really good in early pregnancy

I drank ginger tea throughout my first trimester to reduce morning sickness and it really helped alot and av been using it to cook even b4 i got pregnant and still using it up till date

Its not true because I chew ginger, drink the water and also cooked my rice with it from my 1st month of pregnancy till 6 days ago that I put to bed, there was no sign of miscarage ,I will only advice you not to chew it or drink the water like me cos it might cause raches for your baby. Why I used it like that is cos I was using it to control too much saliva and vomiting.

Read about ginger in pregnancy. Most take it to reduce morning sickness. I ve always used ginger during pregnancy and it has helped.

I don't think maybe body difference, I cook with it while cooking but not in large quantity.

So they say but diff body system also applies. like I heard at early pregnancy u don't eat very pepperish food but u cud lick d suya pepper (they call it yaji also contains ginger) in large quantity and I was fine, so it depends on ur system
