For my baby I use grip water and that always seems to calm him down when the pain starts and I also ensure that he is well burped after feeding.

How old is your baby? If he is lesser than 3months he is otherwise normal ,playing and eating well when he is not in pain then he may be Abdominal COLIC that he is having. It is a usual finding in that age group and will resolve spontaneously. To cope while it lasted, u can bulk very well after feeding, bath with warm water when in pain, expose to fresh air when in pain or swaddle, also make sure he is not hungry or has soiled himself. Make comfortable as much as possible. The cause of such pain is not entirely known and NO medication works perfectly, better to stay away from the drugs.
