Yes the flow is normal and expected. Mine lasted even longer. Instead of the dry gin continue your hot water bath and take ferrotone because of the loss of blood to help you replenish. I told to take dry gin too by some experienced mothers but I didn't.

No need to be worried as long as d blood is not bright red and keeps changing colour till it turns milky and subsequently stops coming, it can take 6 months. No need to take dry gin. Let d lochia keep flowing.
