Hummn I was 40 weeks and did not fall into labour, I was induced and d first step failed, the second step was skipped and I went into the third step of induction which was oxytocin drip, within 45 minutes my baby came out, once ure induced,cervix must open, and if it doesn't, CS is not a death sentence , the joy of it is to av ur baby alive in ur hands.... God shall perfect all dat concerns u and ur baby in JESUS name...Amen

I think it's just too early. 37 wks is too early. Full term is 38 wks so chill unless there r Oda health issues like breech or sth. Exercise n rest well n wait. U still Ve till 40 wks.

pls focus your mind on the safety of yourself and the baby, be it CS or normal virg.delivery what matters most is Safety. What is the weight of your baby? And is this your first... All this matters. I had exactly same issue in 2015 and I was given the option of CS but I the TLD Dr. to induce me.... But thank God for God if not I won't be here writing this. Induction failed, BP high and ended up with emergency CS. Pls listen to what your Dr. Says ( its an option but God has d final say)

my boy came at 41weeks on the dot. I'd bn induced, labour was taking forever, I was augmented too, was still not fast. They opted fr CS. I was ready sef cos I'd bn in labour fr too long. Hubby had bought the things. then all of a sudden I dilated from 5cm-9cm. They could already see my baby's head. so the doctors decided to hold on & that was it. There is nothing wrong with CS. mummy n baby alive & healthy is wat one is after but if it's just dt cervix is not open, at 37weeks! abeg don't ans him

mchew. am sure it's a private Hosp. taking advantage of supposedly novice patients. Abeg dont ans him. ur cervix can open anytime from now. He didn't even say they shd try n induce frst, if it dsnt work then cs. don't ans him o. wait till you're 40weeks. some babies stay till 41weeks sef. my darling sis, if there are no other underlying complications DT warrant a CS,biko goan start dancing ur baby is a few weeks away

Most of these doctors just rush for cs because of extra money, am not saying that is the case but it might be.

Your cervix should be close since you are not in labour and you are not due already all you need to do is to have faith and pray

Oh well,i just think you should wait a bit,its not even up to 40 weeks, except there is something else wrong,other than that your cervix being closed does not mean you should opt for cs,they can also induce you. I will advise you wait a bit, pray seriously about it,your cervix will be open and you will deliver like the hebrew women. Remember to share your testimony.
