@Olaide05, Okay! Watch him with the formula. Not part of the books, but mix with pap let's see. Just a trial. Else we would leave him till he gets to enjoy lots of food.

@Olaide05, yes it is fine. There's no one size fits all for babies. How you tried mixing the formula with pap or guinea corn, to see if he would like it and eat more.

Please Doc, like today now, I breastfeed him before I left for work around 8am and I came back 5pm, in between that he took (formula SMA GOLD) 100ml each just 3 times before I came back from work. But for his month (3 month plus, he will be 4 month in two weeks) he is expected to be taking 180ml 5 times a day according to the SMA GOLD CONTAINER. So ma, hope it is fine.

@Olaide05, You are on track. Stop all the drugs. Try local recipes such as guinea corn or PSP mixed with the formula. He may not like NAN.

My dear, my baby has same issue.He will be 6months in few days. I 've been battling with his feeding for d past 3months. Mine doesn't even want his food to pass his throat. I gave him from abidec,abfrabvite,reload now am on wellkid. Always Feed him when he is asleep, that helped me. Am still battling with his feeding.

Try other patterns of feeding.. Try lying down and breastfeed use wrapper to raise his head up. Get him sitter and feed him while he is sitting. Most children are not comfortable with carrying them on our body to breastfeed
