Good day mummies and drs pls want to wean my boy after 13 months pls how do I go about it cos he's no more eating like before all he want is breast.p

You can stop gradually by reducing the number of times you breastfeed, until your baby gets used to it, or you can stop abruptly in which case be prepared for frequent crying, but your baby will get used to it after a week or there about

@Olaide12341, you have to stop the breast. Express the milk out as you don't want to give breastmilk.

You can start with mashed potatoes, yam with vegetables like softly cooked carrots, peas. You can have rice, beans, deboned fish, meat. Fruits either made into homemade juice or cut in bits to eat. Avoid fizzy drinks and fruit juices. No too much sugar. Eggs especially the yolk are good. Plantain is also good.
