Research shows that walkers do not provide any advantage to a child's development. They do not teach infants to walk or help them walk sooner than they would without one. Walkers also may deny babies the necessary opportunities for pulling up, creeping, and crawling.

My baby girl infact hate is a soft word. She will soo cry whenever she sees it. My elder sister dt hlped me wen i gave birth now started sitting her down inside empty carton with pillows inside supporting her back and neck. Am proud to say my baby is already holding on to things to stand up. She sits comfortable without support. She just clocked 7month dis week.

This is a good question Dami. Am interested to find out too. I googled d question and to say i was suprised was an understatement. Do you know dt i read it that in America(Association of Pediatrics or somfin like dt) discourage d use of walkers? Its evn banned in some cities over there. They said it delays walking in toddlers and dat it leads babies to dangerous places wen unattended to. Am interested to know more. Doctors, share ur knowledge on this please.
