Good evening wonderful doctors and mothers, am considering induction cos based on my LMP am 41weeks 2days preggy and based on my 1st scan am 40weeks p

Thanks a lot beautiful people. Our little prince arrived on the 21/12/17. Thanks so much for the advice. I didn't have to go through induction we did a membrane sweep instead.

Induction isnt scary. I was induced last tuesday 40wks 3 days. Labour was an hour plus. Though painful... Had my bby and frgt bout d pains

Go fr induction, i will too next week,i only get strong contractions when im hungry,immediately i eat,baby kicks n contraction stops within 5mins,i don trek tire baby did nt come out

Induction is very safe. Ur LMP is d best to determine ur EGA so u are post term already. Go for induction as considered.

Don't be afraid sis. Your doctor knows which is best for you because he has the necessary information about you and your baby. Induction is meant to help you where contractions did not start on it's own. Once you have your baby, mother and child fine, it doesn't matter what process you went through. Wish you happiness.

Induction is of different types. U can tell ur doctor u want a painless induction by inserting a ballon into u to open ur cervix to loose ur mucus plug
