Hello. Cattarh is a simple thing except that sometimes it really causes stuffy nose and noisy breathing. It's a viral infection and would normally go by itself. Be careful who comes near your baby. Ensure adequate breastfeeding. We usually do not advice various concoctions. They may work but at what risk to the baby's tender liver that has to detoxify all these substances. Cheers
