Is it possible to be breastfeeding and then get pregnant ,without doing menses, very urgent.what are the causes

It's a natural birth control method based on the fact that exclusive breastfeeding (lactation) causes amenorrhoea(lack of menses). The hormones that causes the production of breastmilk repress the release of egg (ovulation). So if there is no ovulation , then no menses. That's means you can't get pregnant while breastfeeding.

But for this method to work, 3 conditions must be met : 1) baby MUST be under 6 months 2) the woman MUST NOT have seen her period. 3) the baby MUST BE exclusively breastfed ( no baby formula or milk ) child is breastfed at least every 4hrs during the day and at least every 6hrs during the night I.e at least 5-6 times at day.

Doc Catherine when my baby was three months old, I saw blood for just that day and after then I didn't see it again and I went for pregnancy test but it was negative .hope am safe my baby is six months old now
