All the prescribed drugs are very effective but if you don't mind go to children herbal seller ( elewe omo ) and buy ororo ogiri....just give him half of baby spoon ...u will see how effective it is.

My baby also had that. I found some colic massage videos on YouTube and since then he's been fyn. I used infacol at a time but the pediatrician asked me to stop. Infacol gives instant relief but it will still come up. But after the massage, he hasn't had Te pain again. He's now 7weeks old

Reduction in baby poop is normal coz it happened to my baby, he's frequent cry is as a result of his intestine is loosing up. Use nospamin 2.5 ml like Rita said, you can take him to see a pediatrician.

Your mum is right about the wriggles and hot water tender massage on the navel. I will suggest you see his doc and ask them for infacol baby syrup it helps with winds and colic.

If you are on exclusive breastfeeding then drink plenty of water. If not please give water before every meal. Also make sure you don't exceed the feeder requirement for scoops of milk as it can harden the babies stool. Also from my own experience baby is only gathering what he eats so he can add weight. But seriously there is nothing to be worried about, just make sure he takes enough water.
