Mine was great because my Mum and Mum Inlaw did d job for the first three months.. My boy is 7months now, and am enjoying him because he gives me joy and makes me forget the worries.

@Triciakeys, That's a bit of depression and anxiety. Mental health issues are sometimes hidden and can be identified if closely noticed. Thank God you are out of it.

Hmmm! I don't know if mine was depression or being overtly cautious. Immediately I put to bed,hubby stayed in d hospital with me. I didn't rest,I was busy checking baby every hour to be sure no cloth is covering his face! I had issues with baby latching cos of wrist pain n was always crying. I later had HBP. It just left last month when baby clocked 7months.

It's really hard to get over.... I had my baby 10 weeks ago and I had a girl of five years before... Nobody to help cos I decided not to have my baby in d village am all alone in d city of Abuja. One of my friend came to bath d baby for d first seven days. And since den it's me and my God. It's not easy to be a mother. Kudos to all mothers

Am just coming out of mine, I hate sex to core, hobby's family makes it worst, they wanted to take charge of everything but I insisted that my mum should come , with the pain of cs they frustrated my life, I was so depressed that I hated everything about marriage, I recently forgave dem in other to come out of this depression, yesterday I give my hubby a surprised sex, I tink am coming out

I was almost depressed after going thru cs to deliver and my baby had jaundice, so we stayed so he could go for photo therapy and I was so sad cos he is my first... But I thank God for strength and a wonderful hubby who was always there.

My experience was crazy. I had sleepless nights which eventually led to headaches, couldn't sleep during the day as a result of the headaches. I was diagnosed with hbp after one week and placed on medications. This is me whose bp was normal although pregnancy. At times I felt like running far away without my phone to any place just to relax. Sometimes I would cry. Thanks to the most high. I came over it.

Hmmmmmmmmmm i experienced it or do i say i am experiencing it! A first time mum who enjoys d attention of her husband and loved being pampered. It all ended d day i delivered, hubby gave 95% of his attention to our baby, he forget evrything i tell him. I started feeling like no one cares abt me any more and stil i wld have to put up wt sleepless night. I jst end up crying out my eyes each tym i am alone. Bt guess wt, i feel consoled each tym i look at my baby.

Hmmmmm mine was a serious one, had my first child last year on Xmas day.... My mum is late so my mother in-law came around 4 threw weeks my mum sister came around for 3days... Hubby travels always so it just me and my baby trust me it wasn't easy even my grandma refused my younger sister from staying with me she thought I would get tired and move my things over to her place but na lie intact I had to stop my job and open a shop just to take care of him bt trust me those things made me stronger

I experienced it. It is crazy. It is the stress of having to deal with sleepless nights after having just put to bed coupled with the fact that one still has to keep her home by taking care of hubby i. e cooking for him and all of that.

D only issue I had was family issue I was at my parents house for proper care after cs but husband family wants me to come over claiming Daz d way it should be, I later went after sometime Sha and everyone was Happy. When I got home back home hubby was so helpfull he cooked swept and do some chores, I wasn't left alone we go out every weekend with baby this lightens my stress.
