I will advise u stop adding dettol to her water. Antiseptic soaps and liquids wipe away the group of microorganisms (called normal flora) naturally found on our skin making one prone to opportunistic infections. Give her ampiclox beech am syrup 2.5ml four times a day for 5days. When she has completed it, pls give her wellkid baby and infant drops 1ml once daily. It's a multivitamin to boost her immunity against infections.

@Idowu18662, which antibiotics were u given and how did u use it for her? I need to know if u used it the right way. Also, if d antibiotics were right and d boil isn't going or is recurring, u may need something to boost her immunity against infections like a multivitamin such as wellkid baby drops as well as vitamin C syrup. I hope u don't bathe her with an antiseptic soap and liquid such as dettol.

I have same issue with my daughter. She is 11 months now and it has been reoccurring over and over. It comes like boils and later dries off. Gave antibiotics twice but had to stop giving her so I don't go to the extreme. Now it came out again and its even worse

@Aduke, yes there's pus-like substance but it's not Increasing, it stays for sometime n dries off

You said it looks like a boil. Is pus-like substance visible in it and is it increasing in size? Is your baby also running temperature? What drugs have you given her for it?
