Continue exclusive breastfeeding... They may not pass stools every day or appears to strain but the stools are usually NORMAL stools! Pasty thick stools are normal not hard as in pellets kind of stools in constipation" .

Babies on EBF do not need to poo daily, they can stay up to 2weeks without having to poo. Sometimes, they can even poo up to 12 times in a day. As long as the stools are normal. There's nothing to worry about.

It is very rare for exclusive breast fed babies to have constipation. Hope you are not confusing his formed stool as hard.
