It depends upon the feeding capacity of the baby. If your baby feeds for longer period of time the total number of feeds might be less in the day. Similarly If baby feeds for short periods and there is frequent feeding the number will increase. Anywhere from 8 to 10 good feeds should be enough to satisfy the baby. However there is no fixed number.
