The best thing to do is to prevent such.... Keep baby warm, breastfeeding exclusively, avoid fumes, smokes,fleet etc and avoid people with cough and cattarh from coming near the baby.

Pls take him or her to see a doctor first to rule out any possible pneumonia. If there is no fever or fast and difficulty with breathing.... It is most likely an upper respiratory tract infections by viruses which will resolve spontaneously.
