It depends on many factors. A child's attention span is definitely not the same as that of an adult....so most of them can not engage in activities that require sitting still for long without any form of activity, you may want to see a Paediatrician preferably a Developmental Paediatrician for the child's evaluation first to know if there are other developmental concerns or to rule out things like Absence Seizures that may also present the same way .
