Quick addition to Sharon's comment. ORT would be useful only if he is vomiting or stooling. ORT is Oral Rehydration Therapy to replace lost fluids from stooling or vomiting (the two common causes of dehydration).

Different babies react differently to teething. So your baby's symptoms are peculiar. The erupting tooth is painful and may cause poor feeding. Simple paracetamol could help until the process is over. They tend to chew their finger to ease the pain. Dirty hands in the mouth can introduce germs which can cause running stomach. Wash his hands frequently. Mostly, he needs you close and your tender care at this time. Cheers.
