At Mother and child hospital, 1st dose is compulsory taken at the fourth month of pregnancy with the belief that it can affect the baby during the first trimester. The 2nd tt dose is given after a month I. E fifth month of pregnancy. 3rd dose is given 6 months after, definitely after delivery etc

They should enlighten you at the first visit of your ANC. That's why it's good to register at a general hospital

Please mothers, don't let us get confused here. One can collect 3 dosed during pregnancy, depending on when you took the first one,second dose is a month after taking the first dose, third dose is 6months after the second dose and not 6mobths after you deliver o, then 4th dose is a year after the 3rd dose and 5th dose is also a year after the 4th dose. If you complete your 5 doses then it covers you for a lifetime but you don't then you start all over when pregnant again.

Thanks moms just dat d hosp im usn seem not to b organised. I was dia on my day of antenatal and was told d gyna had stopd seeing ppl cos he has surgery with someone. Since i registered in dat hosp i hv only bn givn tetanus injctn once and im 18wks pregnant hope it's not an issue

If u av not been given b4, u will take 1 first then after a month u will take d second one then after 6months u will take d 3rd one, that's if u av not given birth b4 den
