I will like to know if my vagina will be stay stretched out or expand after delivery?
Whether or not your vagina returns to its original size after delivery depends on many things:
2. the size of your baby,
3. the number of children you've had, and
4. whether you do Kegel exercises regularly.
After a vaginal delivery, it's normal for the vagina to be larger than it was before. This is because the muscles of the pelvic floor lose their tone when they get stretched. This happens a little more with each vaginal delivery you have.
Women who give birth by caesarean also have some level of stretching of the pelvic floor because the pressure and weight of pregnancy make the pelvic muscles lose tone.
Kegels, or pelvic floor exercises, are exercises that tighten the pelvic muscles and help to restore the tone of the muscles that surround the opening of the urethra, vagina, and anus. Doing these exercises regularly will strengthen these muscles and can improve your sex life.
