Pls, don't use drugs that are not prescribed by Ur doctor. I know that treatment of malaria in pregnancy is usually mild because of the baby.

Hello Olaniyan, this drug is an ACT (Artemisinin Combined Therapy) and according to the guidelines of the National Malaria Control Program, you can use this drug in second and third trimester. So it's safe at 16 weeks. However before using, malaria should be diagnosed first by Rapid Kit or in Lab using blood sample. Don't use based on 'feelings' that you have malaria or for prevention.
