Hello mums,I'm 27weeks gone.Want to ask how often can I take soft drinks e.g Pepsi/7up.This hot weather makes me crave like once a week.Hope its safe

I'll advice that you avoid it if you can. Have you heard about gestational diabetes? It's the type that comes with pregnancy but not in all women. Some shows at the second trimester while some at the third. Since you're not sure if you have it or not, please try to stay away from it. Although it's not soft drinks that causes it but it increases the blood sugar in the body which could result to taking of insulin.

Plz as you are taking soft drinks make sure your intake of water is more to avoid your baby being dehydrated bcoz I took soft more and less of water which it effected my baby her body was too dry

I took a lot of cold Pepsi so doc advice me to always dilute d Pepsi with water to avoid sugar or better still take yoghurt..

I took coke everyday until I put to bed wif my first preg. I don't av sugar issues,not encouraging u though. Just take wat makes u feel OK in moderation

You can take it once in a while cos too much of it is not good,that's if you don't react to it.

Too much of it is not good,dey can trace sugar in ur urine. u can take ice water or yoghurt ice cream.
