As a primigravida, I had heard and digested so many experiences and advice so when the time drew near, I thought to myself "all that is left is to get my hospital bag ready."
As ready as I could ever be (so I thought), cramps began on a Saturday night. Didn't pay too much attention to it though as I was waiting for the likely signs we had been taught at the antenatal clinic. It became more terrible on Sunday and Monday (But still no sign) but due to the pain on Monday, I went with my husband for a check-up and ran some tests. Sleep eluded me on Monday night as contraction became stronger and so had to go to the hospital again to get my result of the previous day test and also make complains to the doctor. At the doctor's office, a strong contraction happened and the doctor said: "Madam, am admitting you because your baby is coming."
"Alright, here we go," I told myself. Went out of the doctor's office to tell my husband to go get the hospital bag.
