@nwachinaemere, but some doctor only prescribe ferrous, folic acid and bco without calcium. Hope the absence of calcium in the routine drugs won't have any negative effect on the mother and baby?

Routine drugs is very important for mom and baby. D folic acid prevents birth defects aka.. Spina bifida and brain issues, d calcium for u and ur baby's strong bone, d ferrous to hlp build up blood etc... D roles cant be over emphasized. It is crucial amd necessary.
