Description
Dr. Uwajeh completed her medical training at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ile-Ife, Osun state, Nigeria. Her pediatric residency training was at the Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. USA. She went on to complete a year of fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the prestigious University Of Chicago Children’s Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. Dr Uwajeh practiced at various hospitals and clinics in the United States; her last position was as an Attending Physician with Advocate Medical Group, one of the largest physician groups in the Illinois/Indiana area. Dr. Uwajeh is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics; she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Nigerian Medical Association. Dr Uwajeh is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and the Adult Life Support. She enjoys reading, swimming, and dancing.
