Paramount Specialist hospital started on the 19th of May 2012. The IVF unit which is the first in Ondo and Ekiti states (Old Ondo State) commenced operations in late 2013 and has been having good results since the very first batch of IVF. The leader of the unit is Dr Loto O.M. Dr Loto holds a bachelor of medicine and surgery from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He had his postgraduate medical education at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital complex, Ile-Ife. He is a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) and also a fellow of the National medical college in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FMCOG).
