Instead of giving vit c, there are crystals u melt in hot water,( ask ur doctor for it) drop one or two in a bowl of hot water keep it by ur side while holding ur baby. Not so close to ur baby. Its so soothing, it will clear the catarrh n cold. The colic will go on its own..most babies outgrow it b4 3months.

You can check for infacol, it works perfectly well for colic and stomach discomfort for babies. As for the cathar cover him well enough to avoid cold. But it's always best you consult your pediatrician. Also apply mentholator to feet and palms.

I'm afraid Omolola Johnson is correct. This so-called baby's stomach pain is called colic. Even though you may find some health practitioner prescribing Nospamin for it, this is not necessary. It disappears on its own. Just breastfeed your baby very well and let the medicinal breast milk do its wonder, you'll find the cattarh soon disappear. Avoid drugs as much as you can for your new baby, you don't want to start overworking their tender liver which has to metabolize all these drugs. Cheers

Hmmmm, I don't agree with the nospamin. The stomach pain is called Colic. It would go on its own. My 5 months old son had it too when he was that age. I took him to see a paediatrician and she explained to me that it's an 100 days discomfort, which every baby goes through. By the time the baby is 3 months its over. True to her words my son is over it now. Just give d vitamin c drops.

Hello Elizabeth, use Vitamin C drop for the catarrh stuff cos it's everywhere now. As for the stomach pain, use Nospamin drop for it.
